Control Resonant map: Full map of all zones
The sprawling streets of Manhattan make up the map of Control Resonant.
Open-ended rather than open world, the map is split into seven distinct zones, each requiring you to set up Map Kits to unveil the full thing.
So, if you want to get a better look at the Control Resonant map, here's a look at each of the seven zones.
Control Resonant map: Full map of all zones
Control Resonant's map is unlocked in stages. As Dylan progresses through the story, new areas become available, and you can use Map Kits to fill out the map.
These are:
- Downtown
- Central
- West Incursion Zone
- Evacuation Zone
- The Park
- Underpass
- Unknown
It should be noted that certain areas do not have a map at all, such as the Patterned Factory in Central.
Downtown
Downtown is where our story begins, following Dylan's escape from the Oldest House.
Central
Almost a hub zone of sorts, Central is the location of the FBC Field Office, and provides a route to most of the other zones.
You'll routinely come back here to chat with important NPCs or pick up new missions.
West Incursion Zone
West of Central, the West Incursion Zone is accessible early on, but due to being so heavily patterned, is rather difficult to explore in the early game.
Evacuation Zone
A small zone located to the southeast of Central, this is the location of several Main Story missions, including the Sinkhole, and has a lot of Hiss enemies.
The Park
Northeast of Central, The Park has been largely taken over by the Mold, and features a second FBC Base as well as a link to the sewer network.
Underpass
An underground zone found beneath the city, filled with warped gravity and twisted pillars. Links to the underside of the Oldest House.
Unknown
The final area of the game. A nearly totally patterned area of the city floating in the sky with various islands and pieces of debris orbiting around it.
How to unlock the map in Control Resonant explained
The map in Control Resonant can be unlocked using Map Kits.
In each area, you'll find a small radar near the entrance, marked on your map with a pylon icon.
Head here, and look out for nearby red lights denoting the location of nearby Sensors.
Make your way to each Sensor, and manually turn them on by holding L1/LB next to them.
Once all three have been switched on, return to the radar and pull the level to reveal the full map of that zone.
