Pokemon Could Finally Come to Fortnite for the First Time, According to New Leak

Over the years, Fortnite has had some pretty big collabs. From Arcane to The Simpsons and beyond, many beloved major IP have made their way into the game. We even had AI Darth Vader a while back. Yet one major franchise has yet to appear in Fortnite, despite many rumors and fan requests. Pokemon has yet to get a single skin or item in Fortnite, despite fan requests. Now, a new leak certainly suggests that we could finally get some Pokemon content in Fortnite at last. Given the gaming theme of the current season, it could even happen sooner than you think.

Pokemon is going pretty hard on collabs in 2026, thanks to the game’s 30th anniversary. We’ve got Krispy Kreme Pokemon donuts, the Pokemon collection at Target, and another wave of McDonald’s collab goodies. And yet, even though Pokemon and Fortnite both love a good collab, the two have yet to have an official crossover. A new leak, as shared via reliable Fortnite insider @ShiinaBR, suggests that could finally change this year. Supposedly, the Fortnite website now has a Pokemon subdomain. That could well mean Pokemon crossover content is incoming.

New Leak Makes Pokemon x Fortnite Look Likely for Season 4

According to the leakers, a Pokemon subdomain first appeared on the Fortnite website back in May 2026. If that’s the case, something Pokemon-related for Fortnite could well be in the works. Given the gaming theme for the current Override season, this content could even drop in the next few months. Chapter 7, Season 4 will run through October 31st. That means that while we’ve got some great gaming collabs already teased, including Kingdom Hearts, Epic Games could well be holding on to a few big reveals to keep hype alive throughout the season. However, many Fortnite fans are skeptical that Nintendo would ever sign off on bringing Pokemon to the game. This is hardly the first time rumors about a crossover have circulated, so it’s fair that fans are hesitant to get their hopes up.

That said, the timing for a Pokemon crossover in Fortnite feels pretty perfect. Pokemon is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and Fortnite is leaning into its “gotta catch ’em all” style mechanic for Sprites. The Pokemon-themed Sprites basically create themselves in that scenario. That said, even if this leak looks a bit more promising than prior ones for Pokemon in Fortnite, nothing is confirmed at this point. Epic Games has not announced a Pokemon collab, and Pokemon doesn’t look to be part of the teaser-filled key art or trailer for the Override season. There’s plenty in that teaser to carry us through a full season, so Override could well wrap without ever bringing us a single Pikachu.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 launched on August 20th, bringing the first big gaming crossover with new Sonic the Hedgehog Sprites. Many other gaming collabs are apparently confirmed from the key art. But if this leak is to be believed, Fortnite could be preparing to reveal something related to Pokemon in the coming months. For fans who’ve been hoping to see this collab finally happen, that’s pretty exciting. But we shouldn’t get our hopes up too much until Epic Games actually announces something.
