Disney's Historical Crime Series Renewed For Third & Final Season

Disney+ officially doesn't want any more.

Disney+ launched in 2019 and achieved tremendous success due to having over 10 million subscribers on its first day, with a reported 135 million global subscribers today. At the time, former CEO Bob Iger stated that streaming is the future and used the many properties Disney now owns, including Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Pixar, to be exclusively streamed on their platform. Now, with many new original movies and series as well as the classics, Disney+ is a streaming giant.

Deadline has confirmed that Disney and Hulu's series The Artful Dodger has been renewed for a third and final season. Thomas Brodie-Sangster (known for Maze Runner and The Queen's Gambit) will be returning to his role as the Artful Dodger alongside David Thewlis as Fagin, and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox. Filming is expected to begin in the next few months in Sydney.
