Taylor Sheridan’s First Action Movie In 5 Years Gets Disappointing Release Delay
Taylor Sheridan fans are going to have to wait a bit longer for F.A.S.T.
Penned and produced by the Yellowstone franchise boss, the movie is set to follow a former special forces operative, said to be played by 1923 alum Brandon Sklenar, as he's brought on board to join a black ops strike team at the DEA that combats CIA-protected drug dealers. Helmed by frequent Sheridan collaborator Ben Richardson in his feature debut, the ensemble F.A.S.T. cast also includes Enola Holmes' Sam Claflin, Mike's Trevante Rhodes, I Love Boosters' LaKeith Stanfield and Succession's Juliana Canfield.
As reported by Deadline, Warner Bros. is officially delaying the release date for F.A.S.T. The action thriller, which was penned and produced by Sheridan, and is his first feature effort in five years, was previously dated for an April 23, 2027 release, though is now being pushed back to a May 14 date.
