Henry Cavill Sets Second New Warhammer 40000 Series
Henry Cavill is bringing more Warhammer to Prime Video.
The Warhammer franchise is a fantasy sci-fi media property created by Games Workshop. It includes tabletop wargames where players can collect, build, and paint miniature plastic or metal models and stage tactical battles. There are many novels around the franchise, video games, and pen-and-paper RPGs as well as standalone tactical board games. The franchise is now a multi-billion-dollar phenomenon worldwide.
Variety has revealed that a Warhammer 40,000 animated event series is officially in development with Amazon MGM Studios, Blur Studios, and Games Workshop. Cavill has signed on to executive produce the upcoming series, which is a spinoff of the animated anthology series, Secret Level. The actor is also attached to star in the live-action Warhammer 40,000 series, and both series will be developed alongside each other.
