Wolverine Is Getting PS5 Pro Covers That Look Like They're Coated In Adamantium
With Marvel's Wolverine only a month away, PlayStation has revealed Insomniac's next superhero game will be launching alongside some official consoles, covers, and controllers.
Wolverine Is Getting A Limited Edition PS5
The flagship item in the newly revealed Wolverine collection, shown off via a new post on the PlayStation Blog, is the Battle Yellow limited edition bundle. The bundle includes a digital edition PS5 decked out in Wolverine black and yellow, with the X-Man's likeness near the top of the design next to some claw marks. The console comes bundled with a matching DualSense controller and a code for the game.
If you don't fancy buying a whole new console just to have a Wolverine-themed PS5, don't panic. The covers that come with the new version of the console will be available to buy separately. The covers will only be available in two sizes - ones that fit the slim edition of the digital PS5, and PS5 Pro compatible covers. Another blow for fans of physical PlayStation games, as it seems the disc drive version of the console won't be getting Wolverine covers. You will still be able to use the Wolverine DualSense, though, which will also be sold separately.
A PS5 Pro Dipped In Adamantium
The best reveal of all was saved for last - a limited edition Wolverine PS5 Pro that looks like it has been dipped in adamantium. The motif and the claw marks on the console are the same as the ones that can be found on te standard Wolverine PS5. However, the yellow has been replaced with a shiny silver finish to make the console look like it has been coated with the same stuff that covers Wolverine's skeleton.
