LUAK Takes a Walk on the Wild Side of Coffee Packaging

LUAK takes minimalism somewhere much more curious than just being stripped back for simplicity’s sake.

Anastasia Shulga builds the entire identity around an abstracted Malayan civet tail, broken into rough black marks that almost resemble ink stamps or expressive brushstrokes. The reference cleverly connects the packaging to kopi luwak’s unusual production history without relying on familiar coffee beans, plantations, tasting notes, or the premium ornamentation that often crowds expensive coffee packs. Across cans and individual sachets, that single graphic becomes a flexible signature. It’s minimal, but it’s anything but boring.
