Designed by Melia Tandiono and David Bate (in partnership with Black Ink Project), the look for Sistine Spritz showcases the electric-red Chardonnay-based spritz with both vigour and elegance. The understated packaging – inspired by Sistine’s focus on ingredients – features a stark and complementary blue hue that lets the wax seal emblem become the focal point of the design. Inspired by Italian signage, the logo balances contemporary values with tradition through its custom-drawn letterforms. The slab serif News 701 provides a strong contrast to the logo’s soft curves, while Garamond adds classical elegance to the overall typographic palette.

Shout-out to anyone feeling conflicted about the Arcane ending! The OG game, League of Legends, boasted a high-octane look for its 2024 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) tournament, courtesy of Studio Dumbar/DEPT®. In their first foray into the gaming sector, the Dutch graphic design studio’s all-encompassing design package delivers an aesthetic that blends mystery and power. The design framework features bold typography, a striking black and red colour scheme, and futuristic UI-inspired elements called ‘Journey Data’ visuals. At its heart is The Aberration – a dynamic graphic element that brings the tournament’s ‘Become the Unknown’ tagline to life through various motion states.

The heart of any home, the fireplace has long been a symbol of warmth, comfort and architectural beauty. Victoria Stone’s masterful creations transform this focal point into a stunning marriage of form and function, where marble’s natural elegance meets the primal allure of fire. Their brand update, crafted by London-based creative agency Fluoro, repositions them as a design authority in the luxury fireplace market. By emphasising their dual expertise in both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, Victoria Stone’s new identity speaks to both their heritage and their future-forward vision. It celebrates the company’s relationship with London and Italy through design elements that draw inspiration from both architectural traditions. The logotype’s classic London-inspired letterforms are complemented by Italian design flourishes, while the brand mark’s precision reflects the meticulous craftsmanship found in both cities.

Two decades after it first opened, Wales’ national Welsh-language theatre Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru boasts an expressive, warm, and unwaiveringly Welsh brand system, created through a collaboration with Cardiff-based Uned Studio. To mark the new name – the simpler ‘Theatr Cymru’ – the studio introduces an adaptable logo system that brings a contemporary and approachable feel to the theatre’s visual identity. The system balances bold simplicity with subtle Welsh cultural references – from a colour palette inspired by the Welsh landscape to careful attention to Welsh digraphs – creating a versatile foundation that adapts to different productions. An embodiment of the theatre’s evolution, the new image enables the theatre to communicate effectively with both traditional and new audiences across Wales while celebrating its cultural roots.

A sleek, nature-focused 14-acre mixed-use development in Burnaby, Burnaby Lake will provide 3,700 new homes, with sustainable design by Hariri Pontarini Architects. Toronto-based strategy and creative agency Vanderbrand developed the brand identity system to reflect this elegant architectural vision while emphasising the connection to nature. Characterised by a no-frills modernist aesthetic, it features a confident wordmark, a vibrant colour palette used for highlighting information and wayfinding, and a system of geometric icons that represent key characteristics of the area. A condensed serif complements the sans serif wordmark, adding a layer of warmth and trustworthiness.
