Im Postkraftwagen durch Dresden und das schöne Sachsen

A charming bilingual booklet describing the various routes and tours of the German Post Office postbus routes in the Dresden and Saxony regions and issued in 1929. It includes text, photographs and maps showing the routes and the various attractions and destinations. It is officially titled Im Postkraftwagen durch Dresden und das schöne Sachsen, or, in English, Sightseeing Circular Tours arranged by the German Postal Service through Dresden and beautiful Saxony.

The covers are based on paintings by the Dresden artist Rudolf “Rudi” Rüffer (1902–1984) and show the Katholische Hofkirche, or Dresden Cathedral, on the front cover and Königstein with the Lilienstein on the Elbe on the back; both feature the distinctive yellow post buses. The guide was printed in Dresden by Paul Welzel, Dreden-Lockwitz.
