Matcha packaging has often leaned into ritual and calm, but Fuji Matcha makes the product’s origin part of the object itself. Marco Arroyo-Vázquez shapes the container like a wonderfully simplified Mount Fuji, using an almost entirely white surface before dusting the peak in vivid matcha green. Sparse typography and generous empty space give it the quiet precision of contemporary Japanese design. Instead of another tin, pouch, or neatly decorated box, Fuji turns packaging into a small sculptural landmark, tapping perfectly into CPG’s growing love for collectible containers and objects people actually want to keep around.
