Wattz Wraps Runners in Their Own Foil Blanket

When we think of sports nutrition and performance care, we probably default to thinking of it packaged in clinical white tubes and clean sans serifs.

Wattz, on the other hand, designed by Combo, comes crashing in with chrome foil and neon slime green that looks like pure adrenaline. The metallic silver base is reminiscent of raceday foil blankets, that thing every runner wraps around their shoulders at the finish line, while the acid green lettering pulls from old school Zinka sunscreen, the stuff surfers and lifeguards used to smear on their noses in thick stripes of color.

That combo of chrome and neon signals speed and heat at once, like the sun on metal, which makes total sense for a brand built around athletes who spend hours outside. The wordmark leans into a slanted, almost italicized script that looks caught mid-stride, letters pushing forward and trailing a little motion blur, giving the sensation of transferring power at speed rather than just sitting still on a shelf.
