“Il Giardino delle maraviglie” by Door magazine

In the heart of Brera, among the halls and gardens of Palazzo Crivelli, Il Giardino delle Meraviglie comes to life , an immersive experience that, on the occasion of Design Week, transforms the large spaces into a place of discovery, surprise, and encounter.

The palace’s eighteenth-century rooms, along with the spaces between the main courtyard and the garden, are reconfigured into a surprising and ever-evolving landscape: a true “garden of wonders” where the best of Italian and international outdoor design dialogues with site-specific signature interventions and installations conceived for the occasion. This unique context amplifies the project’s experiential value, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026 “Il Giardino delle Meraviglie” (“The Garden of Wonders“) takes place at Palazzo Crivelli, in the heart of the Brera Design District of Milan, from April 20 to 26, a project by Door, a monthly magazine by La Republicca dedicated to  design.

Davide Mottes, art director of the major Italian newspaper La Republicca, handled the design. He chose Maroni Regular for the titling, with Plantin as the secondary typeface for informations. These two are combined with vibrant colours and photography.
