Milky Band Brings The Joy Of Childhood Rituals To Yogurt

Kids’ food packaging went through a phase when products felt designed for the adults buying them rather than the children consuming them.

But Alice Karamy‘s concept project gives each bottle its own bear, kitten, frog, bunny, or lamb cap, sculpted with sleepy little faces and rounded forms that make the product feel much more collectible. Even the typography joins in with soft, wobbly lettering, while the tiny fruit and flower symbols keep flavor cues wonderfully simple. Kids yogurt can quickly pile on overly designed cartoons and visual noise, but Milky Band strips everything back and lets the packaging itself become the toy. It’s perfectly tactile while still remaining elevated.
