Una resistencia indetectable

The exhibition Una resistencia indetectable, curated by Paula Noya de Blas, was on display at Madrid’s Sala de Arte Joven in February and March 2026, showing works by Noela Covelo, Dj_Sônia, Jota Mombaça, Julia Spínola, Ura/Unz, Marta van Tartwijk and Lou Vives.

The exhibit and its concept was one of the winning projects of the 17th edition of “Se busca comisario”, which roughy translates to “curator wanted”. This project promotes new curatorial models and facilitates access to the professional world for young curators. A Forest Works (Ana Habash and Lara Coromina) were responsible for the graphic design. The title is typeset in HAL Gap, published by HAL Typefaces and the supporting type appears to be the Extended Bold style from Akzidenz-Grotesk.

On the show’s concept and contents:

Work now organizes a large part of our way of life. Through mechanisms that regulate time, the body, and desire, criteria of efficiency, performance, and availability are established that permeate both the workplace and affective relationships, ways of inhabiting space, and subjectivities. In this context, skin, muscles, the nervous system, and emotions partly constitute what we understand today as the productive body. But how do we inhabit the body when efficiency has colonized almost all forms of life? What happens when the body ceases to produce, and what forms of life can be sustained beyond that limit?
