Yerevan studio Backbone Branding approached this project with a clear message of peace. Wine often brings people together across different views. The studio turned that human truth into memorable packaging design. The central illustration shows a cat and a dog in gentle harmony. Their faces rest close together in mutual peace. Where their noses meet, negative space reveals a clear wine glass shape. This visual trick symbolizes shared friendship during quiet table moments. Clear glass bottles hold pale wine sealed with simple crown caps. Dark bottles introduce a warm grey and orange animal pairing. Each element celebrates calm connection rather than common social friction.
Negative Space and Packaging Design
Precision die cutting defines the label architecture across every bottle. The wrap contours follow the organic curves of the sleeping pets. Matte uncoated paper gives the label a pleasant tactile grain. Black ink forms the sleeping cat with crisp white whiskers. The cream canine profile uses soft outlines to soften the contrast. In the center, the exposed glass reveals the liquid within. A gold monogram logo sits inside that negative space glass silhouette. The interlocking letters F and W ground the packaging design. This clever mark adds quiet authority without crowding the main artwork.
A folded paper flag rises proudly from the bottle neck. This three-dimensional collar mimics a white peace banner in physical space. It breaks standard wine bottling conventions through subtle structural origami. The angled flag tab extends outward to catch ambient studio light. Secondary typography stays understated with a clean grotesque typeface. Outer shipping cartons use raw corrugated kraft board with white ink prints.
