Camp Butter Delivers Backyard Campfire Charm

Clarified butter is butter with its water and milk solids removed, making it especially useful for cooking at higher temperatures. But Jackson Tupper gives Camp Butter a personality that belongs around a backyard fire pit, not in the dairy aisle. With chunky lettering reminiscent of vintage state park signs and a sun-faded palette, this butter brand is anything but boring.

The illustrations include a raccoon eagerly waiting for a skillet of food beside a campfire, while another scene shows a squirrel tending a smoky backyard grill, all drawn with the wit of old camping cartoons and outdoor souvenir graphics. Pantry staples that double as little pieces of whimsical art bring the joy we all need more of.

Artist and illustrator, Jackson Tupper, shares more about how the design came to be, below.
