Singapore Airlines launches ‘delivery service’ for Kiwis
To mark 50 years of Singapore Airlines operating international flights to and from New Zealand, the brand has pledged to ship a select group of Kiwis around the world for free
The offer, which is named The New Zealanderlivery Service and was created by Motion Sickness and ED. Studio, is running until August 15 and pledges to reunite 23 New Zealanders with loved ones around the world (and bring them safely back again).
New Zealanders can apply to take part by visiting a bespoke website at nzds.nz, where they are asked to include a note about why they should be selected. Within its first week of launching, more than 8,500 Kiwis listed themselves for delivery, with the first selected deliveries scheduled for London and Zurich.

The initiative is being promoted via a campaign across social, OOH, digital and radio which draws on ‘express delivery’ style imagery but featuring humans as the packages. This charming approach stands out in the travel sector, which more often leans towards the emotional experience of reunions rather than using humour.
